Look out for

Majestic Douglas Fir trees towering over Ramscombe, Red and Roe Deer fliting through the trees. Ramscombe is home to some facinating wildlife from woodland birds such as Goldcrest and Redstart to glowworms casting their earie glow on summer evenings.

This walk uses forest roads, compacted loose stone, with one long steep upward section.

Follow the Red Route at Ramscombe, using the forest roads to explore this hidden jem of the Quantock Hills. The route starts at the events room in Ramscombe with towering Douglas Fir's lining your route, before heading into the forest with scheduled monuments and a host of wildlife such as red deer, crossbills and glow worms.
