Ranger Family Wildlife Walk & Quiz

If you have never been to Hawkridge Woods, not even sure where it is or have never even heard of it why not come along and join Ranger Andy for a couple of hours on a child friendly, gentle amble through this beautiful woodland looking at and discussing the wildlife and history of Hawkridge Woods with a light hearted quiz along the way just for fun!

There are 23 lime kilns in the Quantock Hills and the one at Hawkridge Woods is the only one to have been fully restored (but don't tell Andy we told you just in case it's a quiz question!).

The walk will be approximately 2km (1.6 miles) on forest tracks with one steep ascent so please remember to wear appropriate footwear for walking off road,  dress comfortably for the weather on the day and remember to bring your own refreshments, especially a drink if its warm.
