A fairly strenuous 15km (9 miles) guided walk with 2 of our volunteer Rangers, which will take approximately 4 hours.

About the event
Thursday 19th September - meeting at Bicknoller village shop at 9.45am for a 10.00am departure.
Routing - Quantock Greenway - Stapleplain - Beacon Hill (Great views across the Bristol Channel hopefully) - Bicknoller Post & into Slaughterhouse Combe - Climb again up to Higher Hare Knapp - Halsway Post - Thorncombe Barrow - Bicknoller Combe (Red deer almost a certainty) then return to Bicknoller.
This is a fairly strenuous 15km (9 miles) walk, which will take approximately 4 hours.
Please bring appropriate footwear & clothing required for hill walking & also bring a packed lunch & plenty of water.
