Lydeard Hill Car Park, West Bagborough, Taunton TA4 3DY, UK

About the event

A moderate 9km (5 ½ miles) walk with some more strenuous stretches. Heading north along the edge of the wood, then following an old sunken lane down to Aisholt Village above Durborough Farm. We then head back West, climbing up to join the path that follows along the edge of Great Wood and up to Wills Neck the highest point on the hills. Finally we return along the main ridge path to the car park. If the weather is kind we should enjoy some great views in all directions.

This walk includes some fairly steep ascents & descents on rocky paths so sturdy footwear will be necessary along with clothing appropriate for the weather conditions.

The walk should take approximately 3 hours, so bring refreshments as required.

Dogs on leads welcome.
