Join us at 5am on Saturday 3rd May for a lovely dawn chorus walk, followed by a well deserved cooked breakfast at the Coombe House Hotel afterwards, which is included in the price.

About the event
Listen to the dawn chorus with wildlife expert Pete Baker – we’ll start in the valley forest and then have exclusive access to the mixed scrub of Alfoxton park, which will be full of newly arrived migrants. If you’ve never heard the dawn chorus in an English oakwood, its truly a lifetime experience. All followed by a lovely breakfast at a local hotel.
The walk will take you across hilly woodland/moorland with some moderately steep slopes, so please wear suitable footwear and clothing appropriate for the weather conditions on the day and bring your own refreshments. Tickets are £25 per person which includes a cooked breakfast at the Coombe House Hotel after the walk.
